I Love It When You Call Me Big Poppa

Open auditions for the role of Christopher Wallace in the upcoming Notorious BIG film will be held since the only person Hollywood could cough up to play the deceased rap star was Forest Whitaker (“Dude, Ghost Dog?”) and he was too old to play the part. The film, called “Notorious”, has been in the works for seven years and since they still haven’t been able to find one, classically-trained, African American actor in the whole of Los Angeles, they are looking to the greater public to fill in these shoes.
This means you can in fact be the next Daniel Radcliffe, playing the role of some one else’s lifetime, only to continue your career at a West End Play showing your bare backside to your close family, friends, and a couple a horses. Hollywood – it’s a regular, old dream factory over here.

Keempoo TV Up & Running!
Bored of reading my posts? Well kids, sometimes I get pretty bored writing them. Quite frankly, I’d rather be watching tv. That’s why I’ve started a video-only blog with no extra editorial, just endless, mind-numbing entertainment.

Pluk de Nacht Playing “Eagle vs Shark” for Free This Saturday!
Flight of the Conchords have been flying off the handle as their new HBO show has grown a healthy following by television and (more importantly), torrenting audiences. Heck, yesterday I even heard a couple of their previously released songs on the morning show on KEXP. To top it all off, this Saturday (August 18th) their movie, Eagle vs Shark, will be shown for free during the Pluk de Nacht Film Festival. According the AmsterdamWeekly:
Besides quality programming, there’s a lot to like about the festival. As Schotz attests: “You’ll be seated on our comfortable reclining beach chairs, and if it gets chilly you can rent a cosy blanket. There’s also a bar catering to your every need, and you can have a bite to eat at the Pizza Laboratory, which is an extensions of the famous Trattoria Yam-Yam and employs the same stone ovens… We’ve retrofitted containers and caravans and turned them into four kijkdozen (watchboxes) and mobile galleries filled with pictures an installations.”
