In keeping on top of everything “Shu”, my monthly walk around the Japanese site lead me to find not only what looks to be extended lines of products, but also a set of customized beauty classes. One more flavor of eyeshadow or cleansing oil I could give a shit about (“Um, really pretty color purples there, Shu, but “beat-down” wasn’t a look I was anticipating on trying this spring - Thanks though!”), but the whole beauty classes thing seems way too extreme of a punishment for choosing the wrong country to habitat in (again). Since all of the information on their learning services is in Japanese except for the titles of the classes, that’s all I can offer you in the ways of what they provide. A Learning Atelier sounds like a group class that is divided in three parts: Basic, Advanced, and Trend. A separate Personal Make-Up program is also available.

Of course, registering for any of these classes also means booking a ticket for Japan. In that case, you might as well as but your balls on the table and sign up for the full Shu Uemura experience at his hardcore natural spring spa located in Cape Muroto, Japan. I imagine it to be a place where a team of experts actually try to infuse you with the water and health food to the point that you become like that president from the end of the first X-Men movie who mutates and liquifies in to the ocean. Sure, he may not have been pretty, but just think how balanced his skin must have been.
