Ricky Gervais Show Season 2 Finishes Up

The only popular most popular podcast in history, The Ricky Gervais Show, finished its second season on Tuesday, ending the contract between me and Audible for the 6 crappy episodes they promised me after I forked over $6.95. I’ll admit that’s not a whole lot of money, but after the phenomenally funny first season (which is free which is $4.95 for 12 episodes), I have to say that the most recent ramblings of Karl are pretty annoying, which disproves the conspiracy theory that Karl is a scripted bot. If he was indeed a scripted bot, I’m sure I would’ve gotten my $6.95’s worth and the season would’ve actually been funny. (And personally I don’t really care about the validatity of any entity trying to amuse me, that’s why they call it entertaiment, folks.)
I think they know the podcast has run its course as well because now they are trying first season’s trick by offering up free video podcasts with Karl’s brillaint drawings before possibly charging for the subscription (so you better get to downloading and stashing now before Apple puts the MP.4.aa.jj.kk.ss.jj.pp.33.55.ff.whatever lockdown on ya).
