Ginger-haired, mild-mannered, claymation postman to the kids is finally coming to the stateside after 26 years of being on British airwaves. Not only that, but it will even be shown on Telemundo (a big US Spanish-speaking cable network) and Mr. Pat is also going to make his first appearance in China (on the television, not in the manufacturing plants where his toys have been made for years).

“Postman Pat is set to make his US television debut after his UK-owner Entertainment Rights (ER) agreed a deal with American children’s network Qubo.”

He’s probably going to meet up with Paddington Bear, Simon in the Land of Chalk, and Count Duckula to talk about the “good old days” over tea and biscuits. Wonder if Nanny will be there…
