Watching Suze Orman on Big Love bitch-slap Chloe Sevigny’s character for being a retarded, manipulative, Mormon troll reminded me that the Fico assessment rules will be changing. What does that mean for all of us not living in the compound? More blind faith? Excellent.

This is already coupled with the fact that most of us don’t know our FICO scores and often times credit reports are latent with misinformation giving us bad scores. I live under the ignorant cloak that I don’t actually make enough money to worry about money, but not everyone can have my warm fuzzy sensibitlity.

That being said, these are the only two points that kept coming up in different articles concerning this shit:
1. You can get a FREE credit report from the 3 big companies (Equifax, Experian, Trans Union) once a year. It’s the law, but it doesn’ have the FICO score. You have to pay for that here.
2. Check your credit report and make sure all the information there is correct. If it’s not correct, it’s up to you to contact these companies and get them to change it.

In the meantime, I’m going to see what some one can do about putting me back into the compound.
