Also found in my vacation reasearch was Wikitravel – the bastardized, spliced & diced Wikipedia pages that are frankensteined for travel purposes.
Although it’s not as thorough as it could be, it does offer some overall information on any given destination. It’s kind of like only reading the first sentence of every chapter in a Foder’s Travel Guide.
